Comfort hot broth of chicken cooked in celery, leeks & onion stock
- Jalapeno peppers, stemmed
- Cloves garlic, peeled
- 1 1/2 Teaspoons cracked pepper
- Tablespoon coarse salt
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- Tablespoon dried oregano
- Combine jalapenos, garlic, pepper, salt, lime juice and oregano in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Place steak in a shallow pan or large resealable plastic bag. Pour jalapeno marinade over the steak, and turn to coat.
- Preheat an grill for high heat, and lightly oil the grill grate. Drain and discard marinade. Grill steak 5 minutes per side, or to desired doneness.
Nice place to chill out with friends / family, Good food. Ordered pizza & pasta. Hosts good seafood too. Slightly hot considering its an open place but the good food n ambience compensates for that. On the costlier side in terms of cost but a well paid premium.
Italian cuisine at best in Pondicherry. The pizza here are amazing, I tried ravioli which was equally good along with salads and soups which were delicious. The have some as Tanto Special in the menu and it’s worth trying. It’s an open restaurant and the ambience is also very good. The service is quick and they staff is well trained to handle your orders.
This was my second visit to this place after a gap of almost a decade. The seating area has expanded and the place retains it’s charm and quality of pizzas. This place serves the best pizzas in India and even comparable to pizzas I’ve had on my trips to Italy. It has a friendly Italian owner who walks around chatting with the guests. The pizzas are woodfired in an open oven in the middle of the seating area. The crust, cheese, and fresh ingredients are what makes these pizzas so tasty.
It’s by far one of the best Pizza I’ve ever had. Whenever I come to Pondicherry, I never miss to come here. It’s an open sitting area and somewhere you have shades and somewhere you don’t have.
I have been visiting this place from last 4 years and I must say they have maintained their quality and taste. One Must try their Ice tea. I love their ‘Earth Pizza and ‘Spinach & feta cheese pizza’ the most.
